“Many paths look to negate the ego, or even to negate the possibility of a personal relationship with the Divine in you.  It’s all heady stuff about non-dualism and dropping illusions and so forth. The other paths may recommend renunciation, or celibacy, or ‘creating your own reality’, but there is no greater path than the Path of Love.” – Archangel Ariel

Security is an inside job.

In uncertain times all beliefs are challenged, all positions and opinions are buffeted and twisted.  The need for security, or surety, is an innate human propensity, one that you have inherited from your ancestors. It’s in your genetic code, and in your psyche. Perhaps these unconscious fears were from your cave-dwelling ancestors. When the genus ‘homo sapiens’ first appeared in Earth’s history, the planet was indeed a hostile environment.  Predators, geological upheavals and the daily struggle for survival dominated the mind and emotions. There was no ‘leisure time’ to speak of.  It is worth mentioning that ‘homo sapiens’ is but one manifestation of what you term ‘human being’. There were other civilizations that predated this relatively new ‘parent’ of modern humanity, but all records of them have long since become submerged in the ravages of time. The seed for what you’ve known as the frontal cortex in your brain was implanted as a foil to the older, more primal, reptilian brain that was inherited. Human anthropologists and geneticists labelled the primal brain the ‘reptilian brain’, even while maintaining that humankind’s earliest ancestors descended from the ape-like primates of those times. This inconsistency is quite obvious, but has never been questioned. The entire history of the human race is in your physical DNA, but mostly resides in the so-called ‘dormant’ genomes that were once called ‘junk’. This is the true meaning of ‘living library’ first discussed by the Pleiadians in the 1990’s.

Remember this – there are 60 billion base pairs in the entire human genetic code, but most people are hard-wired to utilize only 2-3% of that staggering amount. Even so, there are more neural connections in that 2-3% than in all of the objects in the known Universe!  One should speculate as to why the other 97% or so is dormant, and currently off-line. It must also be revealed that in order to regain full use of all of your DNA, you would have to have much more than 12 strands reactivated. That mathematical inconsistency is also worth questioning.

However, as interesting as it is to discuss genetics, or distant times in the cosmology of the Earth and the human family, what is of primary importance to you is your feeling at this moment of your journey.  “How do you feel” is another way of saying “How are you?”  Usually, the response is “fine”, a word charged with duplicity. So, how are you really feeling?  Can you take a deep breath, right now, and ask yourself “How am I?”, and then be honest with yourself? Try it right now, or take a time out to try it later on in your day. Write down your feelings in an uncensored way, and then read them and see how you feel about what you’ve written. Avoid judging your feelings…honour them as real instead. Self-acceptance is an acquired art, and takes practice to cultivate it. Begin now, and it will become second nature quickly.

If you discover that you are feeling peaceful and undivided, then you have discovered some of the extraordinary and essential secrets of living authentically. The process of realizing this experience is easier than you might think. The first part is the secret of self-acceptance. You are who you are at this moment – perceived flaws and faults included. Rather than berate what you haven’t dealt with, relax into it as part of the totality of you. As others have endorsed, “love the wholeness of your being.”

Next up is self-care. Can you look after yourself? Can you cook for yourself, and clean up after. Have you lived on your own, and ordered your life the way you like it? Do you make time for your creative interests, or to just be with yourself in solitude? Can you actually tolerate aloneness and silence, or do you fill things up with noise and action?

Cultivate the primary relationship, which is to know thyself. Complete acceptance of who and what you are is the starting point. Once that is committed to, the Universe will harmonize all of your other relationships in balance to that commitment.  So many people these days are over-complicating their lives, or allowing their lives to become complicated by others. Is this a sane way to live? Perhaps not. Everyone has responsibilities to others, agreements and so forth. However, if they supersede your commitment to your dreams, and your ability to care for yourself, then you are courting self-betrayal. Relegating yourself to the bottom of your ‘to do’ list perpetuates a pattern of co-dependency and unhappiness that permeates into the collective consciousness. When everyone consensually and collectively agrees that life is struggle and suffering, is it any surprise that what manifests is exactly that?

Here’s an experiment. Try to look at yourself in the mirror, and ask your reflection to show you God.

What happened?  Are you grinning, smiling, or are you choking back tears? Or, are you bored?

Who made you? What is this thing called ‘me’ and what is the ego? Where did you come from, why are you here, and where are you going? Go ahead, try asking your reflection all of these timeless questions.  You will become aware of some new perspectives, this we can guarantee you.

You see, there is either all of you, or nothing.  Who is staring back out of the mirror? Spirit. Who? You. Who? My ego. Who? My divinity. Who? My mother, my father and all who came before me.

Really? That’s interesting. Already you are part of all of the stories that have ever been, or ever will be. But the stories do not tell all the truth of who you are. Life is not contained by anything, yet is everything. It is not visible, and everywhere visible. It is not alive and is Life itself. Spirit, God, Source, Father-Mother, Cosmic Intelligence, The One, Presence are just labels to describe the indescribable.

What you are looking for, in everything inside and outside, is a feeling…a feeling that holds deep meaning. A meaning that answers all of the questions you asked in front of the mirror. That feeling is the thing that the addict looks for as much as the mystic does. That feeling says ‘love and acceptance’ like nothing else can. You can look in so many places for that feeling, and sometimes it reveals itself as an experience. In the mystery of love at first sight it may be revealed. In the mystery of emptiness after a long grieving for the loss of someone or something it may be revealed. In a moment of dire crisis it may be revealed. I tell you, when you can look at those dishes you’re washing, and a tiny soap bubble captures your imagination, just because of the way the light plays off of it and turns into a spectrum of colour, even in that bubble it may be revealed. That is the feeling that is in the Mystery. No amount of spiritual practice or teaching can prepare you better for that feeling than the act of letting go.

It is the ultimate letting go of everything you are, so you can gain all of who you are. It happens like flashes of lightning. One moment is transcendent and ethereal…the next moment you’re washing the dishes. The two are connected, but your inherited programs jump in and make a story about it. Separation and unity is a dance, not a problem.

The ego has been made into a problem, by classical religions, by mystical schools, by Eastern philosophies, and by New Age gurus. The ego has been a necessary creation of Consciousness in order to create and experience dimensions, universes, and worlds at the objective level. The ego cannot exist or evolve independently of Consciousness, and yet, even now, in contemporary psychology and spirituality, it is the enemy of Consciousness – it is the Fallen Angel.

All truth exists in the ‘in-between’ of between Oneness and duality. In Gnostic systems it is referred to as the ‘nous’, the place of the pure imaginal realm where the gem is, the pearl of great value. This is the dwelling place of Anthropos – the full and complete human being. You are each in possession of this quality which endows you with the natural ability to ‘be with’ whatever you love. You literally become what you love!

We tell you truthfully, there is no Oneness without Duality, there is no Law of Attraction without a Law of Repulsion, and there is no non-duality without duality. Set aside trying to be so intellectually spiritual, declaring that you will only settle for Oneness, and that is that, and you may actually experience something visceral and real, and while you’re still in that body as well!  Escape and progress are not the best of friends, and if your spiritual quest is to end separation by force of spiritual rules, practices and dogma, you’ll end up feeling miserable.  There may be temporary highs, like after a workshop or retreat. Then, off to work on Monday morning, and the car in front of you cuts you off. Now is when the lessons of the mirror work would serve you best. “There goes Spirit, cutting me off again”, you might say, laughing at yourself and the other person’s inconsiderate and unconscious driving skills.

It appears that non-dualism has a bone to pick with Satan, ahem, the ego. If the non-dualists were really into Oneness, discussions of ego and separateness wouldn’t even be on the menu.  No, not the case…it’s ego this, ego that, and pretty soon the ancient enemy is drawn and quartered before everyone’s eyes. This creates more suspicion of one’s own thoughts and feelings, creating more and more dysfunction and worry. If you are looking for security in Oneness, then you are still a house divided against itself. Security is only found when letting go of needing security, or even needing Oneness…or needing love. Merely paying close attention to your feelings and things around you has the curious effect of connecting you with Spirit and with whatever is happening in the moment, and experiencing that they are one and different – at the same time!  Your shoulders drop, your breathing slows, even time seems to stand still. You are in the in-between…feeling the unrelenting love and acceptance of you from and with Spirit, and as Spirit too. There is object and subject, and neither. There are no words, only pure feeling that contains the meaning of everything. There is no nothingness, there is only the ‘everything’ in perfect balance…inside of you!

For the ultimate in personal security, we recommend letting go. Meditation is one form to use. Entheogenic plants (ayahuasca, etc.) is another. Breathwork, yoga, sexual activity, drumming and dance, art and music immersion…each form is a potential stargate into the In-Between. Some call this the Void or Abyss, but this Void is not the empty or sterile place, not a place of no-thing. It is rich with awareness and feeling. Some call it Presence…we know it is infinite Love. Having a personal relationship with Life comes by feeling it. Relating transpersonally to these experiences is all well and good, but do not elevate one type of experience or perspective over another and call it a superior truth. Consider that both perspectives and experiences are valid in their own right. Real ‘letting go’ means letting all of it go…the personal and transpersonal, and then riding in the in-between.

Now would be a good time to begin to make friends with every facet of your Being…including good old ego.  Ego, when no longer terrified of judgment and eradication, can be quite helpful. It governs your time-keeping essentials, like catching a plane on time.  Yes, some equate the Mind and Ego, but the ego is more like an App that the Mind uses.

Best to not make your Mind an enemy either. It is Divine Intelligence manifesting in important ways…like regulating your heart rate, building cells, and flushing waste products from your body.

Ascension isn’t about getting out of here, it’s about becoming entirely present here! In the past we’ve described the phenomena of ascension experiences and traits as a roadmap of Consciousness unfolding. As a model of Consciousness, it’s served pretty well.  Letting go of models frees things up for novelty and moving into uncharted territory. Spirit loves uncharted regions…it invented them.

Imagine yourself sitting on a lawn on a summer’s afternoon. Take a moment to examine the activity going on between the blades of grass. Allow yourself to become enchanted by the tiniest of insects or an earthworm, as it busies itself with whatever Spirit is doing as the bug or the worm. Remember how fascinated you were when you were a child? Adopt that same way of ‘seeing’, and let go of everything else. Let go of needing to know, needing to evolve, needing to stay safe and secure. Observe the daisies and dandelions, how they do not struggle or stress out…about anything. There is an innate and loving Intention within even the most insignificant pebble, or even a decaying plant. This is the unassailable Truth of Life. It cannot be destroyed, it cannot be created. It just Is, and it always Was, and it Will Always Be. Just like you. Just like us. Here, in the in-between.

Blessings on your Journey,
-Ariel

Commentary by Isaac –

This transmission meant a great deal to me, as it brought back the feeling of those profound moments of ultimate clarity, or unity consciousness that I have experienced at times throughout my life, especially during and after my kundalini awakening in the mid-1990’s.  One of them simply happened while having a shower…in an unguarded moment wherein I let go, without realizing I was doing so. I was swept into the Immanence of Life, and surrounded in an astonishing aura of love. Lasting only 15 seconds or so, the ‘Voice’ inside the moment described how it occupied all forms and phenomenal objects…the water droplets in the shower, the shoes I wore, the car I drove, the food I ate.  I felt safe, I felt ‘seen’, and through it I felt deeply humbled even as I felt myself to be spread across the Cosmos and everywhere at once. I still marvel at how unconcerned I was…nothing mattered except what was occurring. I feel that is what Ariel is trying to impart here…how it is in letting go into the simplest and seemingly most mundane objects or tasks, that we may touch the face of the Eternal.

Found this in the Gnostic Gospel of Mary Magdalene.  Seems a perfect quote to end with…

“. . . Will matter then be destroyed or not?

22) The Savior said, All nature, all formations, all creatures exist in and with one another, and they will be resolved again into their own roots.

23) For the nature of matter is resolved into the roots of its own nature alone.

24) He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
